AUTUMNAL EQUINOX - IN PERSON

For this special edition of What We’ve Forgotten, Amy will be joined by the amazing Jenn Luxmore-Begin. Amy is honoured to have Jenn joining  to share her medicine and magic as part of remembering What We’ve Forgotten.

What We’ve Forgotten Equinox will take place in Elora Ontario. Elora sits on the traditional territories of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Anishinabewaki, Mississauga and Haudenosaunee peoples. We will be making not only an energetic offering to the land but also monetary offering to Indigenous nonprofit Grandmother’s Voice which helps to support and host community work, events as well as amplify elders and their teachings. This has been factored into our registration fee, a gentle reminder: this is not a donation, this is reparations.

THE RETREAT

This very special immersive will take place over the Autumnal Equinox, September 19-21, 2025 guided by Amy and Jenn.  This is a time to reconnect and harvest the crops from our inner gardens (even if you didn’t know you had one). In some ancient societies the equinox was believed to actually recreate the cosmos. Through ritual,  song, recitations and ceremony, ancient community participated in the renewal of the world order. This equinox we will come together to remember that we can do the same. We will center on what we need to thrive right now, not just survive. The equinox brings equal light and shadow and we will remember how to better work with these cycles by reconnecting to nature. Together. In Ceremony. We will plant seeds together for ourselves and for the collective to germinate over the winter so they may sprout in balance in the Spring.

Space is limited. This is an immersive sacred session and space.  Discussion, practice and group work is confidential. Attendance on both days is required as both  a sign of commitment and respect to not only yourself but to the group. This is part of our remembering: What it means to be held by community.

The retreat begins Friday evening with a short opening and ceremony after dinner.  Saturday and Sunday will be full days (9:30-4:30 with a break for lunch).  Vegetarian Lunches will be provided (or if you’d prefer to bring your own lunches or eat on your own-  that’s fine too!).

This area holds great magic in it’s limestone bones and I can’t wait to invite the energy of the land and The Grand River into the circle with us. We will be utilizing music, sound work and ceremony in the Garden that started it all…We’ll work to reset your nervous system,  reinstate your sense of wonder – and reclaim your magic. Yes – in one weekend.

We will share our experiences, developments and tune ourselves back into the language of nature – in nature.  Whether you’re new to Spiritual work, or a seasoned professional What We’ve Forgotten is always a new adventure to explore the wonder within – and around us.
