If you’ve read my book or know me, you know about The Remarkables – Childhood sexual abuse survivors, or Trauma’s elite special forces unit.

The Remarkables was founded by not only me but the Remarakbles I met during the pandemic through @thegatehousetoronto – We stil meet on our own every single week. We are known as The Remarkables.

I’m the one who is out of the closet so to speak – but there are lots of us. Maybe you are one too?

This is a place just for us.
Whether you are public or not.
Whoever you are, wherever you’re from.
This is the place for you.
We know how you got here. We know just how hard it is every single day right now.
So this is a place where we are going to share time, tips, resources, comics and capes. We’re here to remind you of yours.

We’ve amassed a pretty big collection of tips, tools, resources, and practices to help us navigate our CSA journeys so who are we not to share them with you as you may be navigating yours.

Maybe you’re someone who loves us, and wants to learn more – there will be guides available for you as well, but this newsletter, it’s a place for us. If you know us you know boundaries are pretty important to us and we have a really weird obsession with justice (including socially).
You’ll also find we have A LOT of things in common. It’s best you start thinking of those as superpowers – and start considering little you.
We are announcing this new project as a toolkit and network in service to survivors, by survivors.
Think of it as a multi-media fanzine for The Remarkables, our own private club and resource centre of VIP access.

Note: We’re not a crisis centre, or a medical service – but if you need those we will have you covered with suggested resources for different parts of this adventure. This is not a place where we will discuss the details, or disclosures. This is a place where we will focus on the power – and maybe some comics.
