GENERAL LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
I, the undersigned participant, understand that attending and participating in the above-named retreat (the “Retreat”) may involve a variety of activities, including physical movement, group exercises, outdoor excursions, and other experiences that carry certain inherent risks. These risks may include the possibility of minor or serious injury, illness, or other unforeseen outcomes.
I acknowledge that I am choosing to participate voluntarily and take full responsibility for my well-being throughout the duration of the Retreat. I understand that while all reasonable care will be taken by the organizers and facilitators, they cannot guarantee complete safety in every situation.
In consideration for being permitted to participate, I hereby release and hold harmless the Organizer, its employees, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise out of or in connection with my participation, including any resulting from negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
MEDICAL TREATMENT
In the event of an emergency, I authorize the Organizer to obtain medical care on my behalf if deemed necessary, and I agree to be financially responsible for any associated costs.
PERSONAL PROPERTY
I understand that I am responsible for any personal belongings I bring to the Retreat and that the Organizer is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA RELEASE
I grant permission for photographs or video footage taken during the Retreat to be used by the Organizer for educational purposes, I understand I may opt out of this by informing the Organizer in writing before the Retreat begins.
GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to any conflict of laws principles.
JURISDICTION
Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with this agreement or the Retreat shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario.
SEVERABILITY
If any portion of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining sections will remain in effect.
